The good news is that it was just a pulled muscle and not a broken leg.  The bad news was that it was swollen up and hurt so bad I could not walk on it.  We had already enjoyed  the better part of our week of New Zealand skiing so we did have good times to look back on.   And our holiday insurance did cover the medical expenses that we incurred.  I just had to spend the last two days in the hotel bar while the rest of our group went back to the slopes to enjoy the snow that we had all come there for.
