I’m a technology nut. That’s who I am. I’m always looking for new ways to incorporate tech into my daily life. What I found was that biometrics offered a fantastic new way to use technology for my home’s security.

If you have never heard of biometrics, it’s the technology of recognizing the unique indicators of the body that mark each person as unique. With something like a fingerprint deadbolt, the biometric technology recognizes the aspects of the human fingerprint that makes it unique to each person.

This means that the lock will only open to fingers of those that are programmed in and not someone else that you don’t want getting access into your home.
