If you’re looking for a way to improve the performance of your computer, then I definitely suggest looking into doing some driver updates.  The drivers in your computer are the coded interface that allows Windows to communicate with your external hardware devices.  If this code isn’t up to par then it could cause a number of different issues that can put a hit on performance.

There are some great programs out there that can make updating your drivers easy.  The best driver update software in my opinion is Driver Detective.  It has a driver database of over 2.2 million differnet drivers, so you really can’t go wrong.
