I Don’t Usually Buy That
February 23, 2010 3:36 am TechnologyI usually don’t waste a lot of time on extended warranties. In fact, in almost all cases, they are a flat out rip-off, in my opinion. If the factory warranty doesn’t cover it, you probably don’t need it. However, after reading Kindle reviews, I found out that the factory warranty with this particular machine wasn’t that great and didn’t really take care of normal stuff that dropping the reader. I was glad that I had taken the time to examine the issues. I never would have bought the extended warranty otherwise, and it has definitely been worth it to me.
