My cousin has been an avid skier and instructor for eight years who recently got interested in snowboarding.  He has been skiing since he was eight years old, but when he took on the instructor job one of his students got him interested in snowboarding.  He taught him what to look for in a good board and gave him instructions on how to mount his snowboard bindings.  I talked to him the other day and he asked me if I was interested in learning how to snowboard because he would give me free lessons.  He said he likes it better than skiing and is thinking of starting classes for snowboarding too.
