Every person that decides to try a new sport has to start off as a beginner. That only makes sense. A person that wants to compete in their first triathlon should really consider a program of beginner triathlon training. The program will make sure and help a person to build a base level of fitness and then progress on to more advanced techniques in all three legs of the sport. It will help a person to prevent injury and also get them accustomed to doing more and more each week. A good program will last a few months before the first race.
