Milwaukee sinks Dodgers

Doug Davis on Wednesday overcame a shaky start for their first game of the season, Prince Fielder was key in four runs in the first inning with a single two turns and the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Dodgers 11-3 Los Angeles.

The Dodgers lost for the tenth time in the last 15 games.

The Brewers also limp with four wins in their last 12 games. They won for the second time this season without hitting a home run.

In Milwaukee, Rickie Weeks had three hits, drew a leadoff walk and drove in three, including two in the ninth.

Davis (1-3) allowed seven hits and three runs in five innings work and third, the second time in six starts with at least five episodes. He struck out four and issued two walks.
