There are many different manufacturing fields from textiles to plastics, metals, woods etc. Some fields require no manufacturing training at all, however others require extensive training and still others allow you room to move up in a company if you have the appropriate training coming in to a job. Manufacturing training can occur at a tech school or can even occur at home with the help of modern technology such as DVDs or the Internet. This makes it much easier for someone to learn a new skill and hopefully find a way that allows them to have a successful professional career.
