Most women do not go where I go or do what I do, but that’s fine with me. I have always been much more interested in working outdoors with the men, than inside with other women. My folks have finally come to accept that this is my personal choice and there is no point of trying to talk me out of it. They barely raised an eyebrow when I told them that I had signed up for industrial training. Dad only wanted to know what area I wanted to work in. He says that the men may make it a little harder for me, but I am definitely up to the challenge.
