This last weekend, we took on the bathroom. We set ourselves a reasonable budget, and did our shopping well ahead of time to take advantage of sales. We found some excellent discount bathroom furniture, a fun new color scheme – not so fun that we’ll hate it in six months time – and we were ready to go when the 3 day weekend rolled around. We had a good time working together on it – in fact, it was so fun we got done ahead of schedule and had Sunday night to enjoy the new bathroom and we saved enough to go out to dinner, too.
