My friend has an obsession for electrical appliances, no matter how mundane they seem to others. He can spend many blissful hours in the bookstore browsing through the magazine section just to read articles and reviews about things like ovens and vacuum cleaners. I visited him at home once and found him avidly reading a juicer review even though it was a beautiful day that just begged for people to goo outside and play. To give him credit though, he doesn’t judge me for my habit of cleaning and collecting juice packets. So, I return the favour by teasing him for only a few minutes at a time.
