My dad’s Home Health Care Nurse comes over every day to check on him.  One of the things she uses is a Nonin Onyx to check his pulse ox for her records.  This is quite a little device that is wireless and digital.  She says that it helps her to make sure that the oxygen levels for dad are in the range where they should be.  She is able to record these numbers in dad’s file and she can look back to see if there are any indications that would warrant sending him to the hospital to be checked by a doctor.
