The Most Common Tinnitus Victims: Are You One?
August 14, 2010 11:02 am Health and FitnessThere are a lot of different ways to acquire tinnitus, and it’s not always obvious if you have it or not. You may be wondering if you even have it. Well, lacking more devoted sources of info (tinnitus miracle and the like), you can always check to see if you’re in a group of people prone to contracting tinnitus. That will help you narrow down potential problems, or so we hope!
Unfortunately, if you’re white, you’re in one of the biggest overall groups for tinnitus victims. This is partly due to biological factors and partly due to circumstantial factors, which cause white residents of south-eastern regions of the United States to be even more afflicted than Caucasians in other areas. What can you do to combat this? Treat your body right, eat well, avoid stress, exercise, and cut down on that loud music. If none of that works, it might be time to visit a doctor.
But while that’s one of the largest and most readily identifiable groups of tinnitus victims, there are other groups you should know about. If you feel the need, follow the rest of our series to learn more.
