Are you looking to take a short break somewhere? If you are considering the possbility then you could do worse than spend some time in the UK. The UK has plenty of great places to visit and great things to see and do. There are fantastic places to take your children. The Blackpool Zoo & Dinosaur Safari is a great place to take children and a place where they can learn and discover interesting information.

Thorpe Park. Although there’s lots to do for actually tiny ones, this is a theme park actually for the older kid and adults! There are some extraordinary rides here, my favorite being the log flume – hold onto your hat! This is a superb day out, you wont have some time to do it all, there’s so much there! Cadbury World. What am I able to say – this is my heaven! Chocoholics everywhere will love coming here. It’s fun, academic and you get tp try chocolates!! Alton Towers. With it’s own castle, hotel and water park this is somewhere you might want to go for a weekend rather than merely one day so you can see the maximum amount of it as you can.

It has some of the finest ‘take your breath away’ rides – scariest for me is Nothingness , though I did go on it again & again! The London Dungeon. The most hideous parts of our history is brought back to life here – I might not suggest youngsters come here, some of it frightened me, however for the older kids it is great… Just keep an eye over your shoulder! Lego Land Windsor excellent for tiny ones, up to the age of twelve I believe.

They’ll love this place, full of color and each childs favorite Lego! Plenty of things for them to get up to here with interactive rides and shows. Lots to keep you busy for the 6 week break!
