When the time comes to choose something nice for the nephew, I knew right away that finding the right present would be challenging.  Deciding on a gift for the boy who is too old for toys and too into his video games is not an easy task by any means. I remember hearing from a friends site about Jordan release dates that teenagers who do not like sports will still like these sneakers because they are fashionable right now.  The new sneakers are popular nationwide in class rooms everywhere and I think the shoes will make a great birthday gift for him.  I can not wait to see his face!

I was invited by my cousin to one of his paintball games. I have never seen a paintball tournament until that day. I was amazed with how exciting the game was. I never thought that paintball is that exciting and challenging at the same time. My cousin then asked me to try playing paintball. I did listen to him, and I did not stop playing. In fact, I already own several tippmann paintball guns. My cousin also has his own set of guns. We are both very happy with how things are going for us. Paintball alone makes us really happy.

I’m probably one of the girliest girls you’ve ever met. I don’t sit down in the outdoors, always fear a sweat coming on, and can’t leave the house without my hair in place and make up done everyday. So when I got married, it seems the old adage is true, that opposites attract. My husband is all man, and when I say that I mean lacking in social graces, into sports and outdoor activities, but it really works.

So at a family outing a few months ago, I learned the difference between airsoft guns and paintball guns. While there are  several noticeable differences, airsoft guns look and feel like actual guns while paintball guns just look weird.

Seth and I have worked in the same computer store since it opened in 1999. Out of 40 workers there is only one other person that has worked there longer than us and he is the owner. My cousin has been an avid skier and instructor for eight years who recently got interested in snowboarding.  He has been skiing since he was eight years old, but when he took on the instructor job one of his students got him interested in snowboarding.  He taught him what to look for in a good board and gave him instructions on how to mount his snowboard bindings.  I talked to him the other day and he asked me if I was interested in learning how to snowboard because he would give me free lessons.  He said he likes it better than skiing and is thinking of starting classes for snowboarding too.

Owning a yacht is a once in a lifetime purchase, I think it should not be a cookie cutter decision of what to own.

As a recreational golfer, I’m always somewhat looking for ways to better my game; which is a hard thing to do given my lack of practice time. Time that is greatly needed to improve at golf. Golf is a difficult sport. No matter how simple it may appear on television, in reality it requires an incredible amount of skill and fortitude. So when a fellow weekend warrior brought his latest golf swing antidote, the golf glove training aid, over to my house, I was greatly intrigued. And when I actually hit some balls with it on, I knew I had to have one; as I could not believe what it did for my grip stability.

Every person that decides to try a new sport has to start off as a beginner. That only makes sense. A person that wants to compete in their first triathlon should really consider a program of beginner triathlon training. The program will make sure and help a person to build a base level of fitness and then progress on to more advanced techniques in all three legs of the sport. It will help a person to prevent injury and also get them accustomed to doing more and more each week. A good program will last a few months before the first race.

It is down right appalling to read about all the celebrities who are being caught wearing fake Jordans.  It is like everyone does not have a sense of pride in ownership.  Why on earth would anyone want to wear counterfeit clothing, especially celebrities, because they can definitely afford the real deal.  If I was a celebrity and had millions of dollars, I definitely would not skimp on fashion.  I would probably have an entire room in my house dedicated to all my clothing and sneakers, but I can guarantee you that not one item would be bootleg.  Celebrities need to step up and get real!
