I hate to be embarrassed. Doesn’t everyone? I have to start flying cross country on business trips and I am terrified that some airline stewardess or steward will tell me I’m too fat for my seat. I need to get rid of at least some of this belly in six weeks. My father told me that if I want to buy my own paintball gun then I should buy a smart parts ion. I know he is right, and I should believe him because he used to play paintball. In fact, my uncles told me that my dad is very good in paintball. I tried asking him to buy me a paintball gun, and he told me that he still has to ask my mother about it. Well, I just hope my mom will say yes. I know that they are worried I will give all my attention to paintball, and I will no longer do well in school.

My family has always been really luck in that we all have a fairly good metabolism. I certainly don’t pig out all the time and eat junk, but I have definitely never really worried about my weight. As my girls have gotten older, however, it’s become apparent that my younger one didn’t inherit my body type. She has to be much more diligent about being active. I’ve joined her in a beginner running program so that we can do it together. I know that most kids that succumb to weight problems have very poor examples at home, so I want to teach her good habits while she’s young.

At the gym six months ago they introduced my karate class to some new equipment to help our fitness. I was really shocked and surprised when my coach wheeled in a giant tractor tyre for us to flip. I have been taking my friends out golfing a lot lately because of the specials I get on golf on the weekdays.  However, last week something really strange happened. I got on the course, and pulled out this brand new Bushnell Yardage Pro.  It was supposed to help me get my score down and get him motivated to do something.  However, it just might not be meant to happen at this point.  I am sure that both he and I are going to continue to use this great piece of technology.  It’s especially better than the alternative of doing nothing. 

My husband is what some would call a Jack of all trades.  He can fix almost anything and he is really good at fixing things.  He decided that he would advertise his services and see if he had any takers.  He was pleasantly surprised when he was offered a job that requires him to fix refurbished bass boats.  He loves doing this type of work and he does this in addition to his full time sales job.  He is making quite a bit of extra money and we are saving up for a nice vacation.  I cannot wait until we get to go.
