I am in my third year of college and I am beginning to prepare for when I am out on my own in the world. One of the ways that I am preparing for this is by building up my credit rating. My parents have always warned me about credit cards so I have just taken one and paid it off every month. I also make sure to check my credit rating with my free credit reports that I get every year. This is to ensure that I do not have mistakes on it and that my identity hasn’t been stolen. Hopefully when I graduate and get a job I will be ready to face the workforce with a good credit score.
