Fuad El-Hibri was the son of Ibrahim El-Hibri, a successful Lebanese business man who later in life turned his attention and support to the development of life saving vaccines.  It is no wonder then that his Stanford and Yale educated son now leads a company whose mission is to do exactly that.  Fuad is Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the board of the biopharmaceutical company Emergent BioSolutions Incorporated.  This company already manufacturers the only FDA recognized vaccine against the anthrax infection which they sell to the United States government.  However they are also working on developing vaccines for other serious medical threats such as typhoid, tuberculosis, hepatitis B and chlamydia.  This is a company who has overseas offices and is working to make a difference on a global scale.
