My mother bought a new alexandria doumbek. She was so excited that she called us and told us that she had a surprise. We did not expect that she purchased a new instrument. I know that my mother loves music, but she does not know how to play any instrument. She then told us that the doumbek is also known as the belly dancing drum, and it is what they use during their belly dancing classes. She said that she bought one because she wants to have belly dancing with her friends at home.
